The Discernment Task Force of the Search Committee will be meeting with the Vestry and Mtr. Gina Walsh-Minor on Sunday, June 12th to present the names of the three final candidates for the new Rector for St. Barnabas. The DTF appreciates all the prayers and support that the parish has given them during this part of the search process. Now we are moving into the most important stage of the process and need to fervently pray to the Holy Spirit for the guidance and discernment of the Vestry in choosing our new Rector. To God be the Glory for all the gifts and graces bestowed on us in our search process and in our new Rector.

May 29th 2011 was the last day of Sunday School
During our final classes of the year (the last class was May 29) we learned about several times when Jesus appeared to his friends after the resurrection. Doubting Thomas was not there the first time Jesus appeared to the disciples, but finally believed when he was able to see Jesus and touch His wounds. Blessed are we
who have not seen and believe! At the last appearance, He gave them the Great Commission to go out and make disciples of all nations.
Certificates were given out to the students at the last class. Teacher recognitions will be Sunday, June 5th, during the service. Thank you to all the teachers for all your hard work, without you this program could not work. A special “Thank You” to Bryan Botsch for doing the music prior to each class and also giving a review of the prior lesson. Have a great summer. See you in September!
